Our client is a leading global luxury brand with a distinctive British sensibility and strong international recognition. Based in salubrious surroundings in London. They now have an opening for an experienced  Production Coordinator – Accessories.

 

Job Purpose/Responsibilities:

In this role you will manage the seasonal placement and follow through of finished goods for a category(ies), in a manner congruent with the supply chain objectives: delivering quality product, on time and at the right prices. Key responsibilities will include: -

 

Advise vendors of seasonal buying/production calendar, unit plans and negotiate minimums as applicable, working with Managers for guidance on setting objectives for the season and negotiating any challenges.

 

Manage communication with manufacturers on raw material call-offs & receipts, ensuring production needs are met in accordance with calendar and delivery schedule.

 

Manage seasonal product pass-off to local sourcing office as needed; update PLM with vendor costs; liaise with product development for updated BOM information as needed.

 

Partner with manager to finalise prices and margin, providing seasonal price analyses across vendor and product categories; partner with quality assurance to resolve quality issues as needed and participate in vendor performance analysis each season.

Applications are welcomedfrom candidates with proven experience in production/manufacturing managerial roles, ideally within the accessories/leather industries, the ability to write and speak Italian fluently is a distinct advantage. Strong costing and negotiation skills and the ability to develop excellent relationships with peers and cross-functional business partners are essential. You should react well to change and thrive as both a team leader and team member and ideally have expertise in SAP/PLM.
