Merchandiser /Assistant Account Manager

Are you an experienced Import Merchandiser used to dealing with High Street & mail order customers such as Wallis, Evans, Dorothy Perkins, Peacocks & N Brown Group? If so, we have an exciting opportunity available to join a small, well established manufacturer and supplier of Ladies apparel based in West Yorkshire.

In this role you will be a key point of contact for customers and Far East suppliers and factories. The role will include managing your High Street accounts, placing and managing orders, monitoring production and shipment of orders, lab-dips and all aspects of the critical path.

They are looking for a dynamic individual, ideally with 2-3 years’ plus experience in an Import Merchandising role within the UK clothing industry. Strong communication, PC and administration skills are required as is the ability to work using own initiative, in a team driven environment.

Competitive salary that will depend on experience.
