Reporting to the UK based Apparel Design/Product Manager, as a Designer / Developer you will primarily drive and assist with the design and development of new products for assigned categories within equipment and apparel. This position will support design and development objectives within the product lifecycle management framework; in this key role you will be responsible for-


  • Develop and drive the visual design language for Equipment and Accessories whilst assisting with Apparel product lines. Designing, developing and managing the product range ensuring delivery on time and in full.

  • Develop an excellent understanding of the brand and assist with in depth trend, colour and market research.

  • Partner with garment, fabric and trim suppliers, fibre and chemical companies to maintain fabric and trim related awareness of trends, innovative fibres, new technologies, finishing techniques and industry standards, etc.

  • Work closely with the Apparel Design / Product Manager executing the design process for assigned products, with an emphasis on innovation and performance whilst still meeting parameters of quality, price, moq’s, lead times and achieve economies of scale where possible.

  • Ensure 100% accuracy on all design and development documentation for adopted fabrics, including specs, lab dips, test reports, pricing, headers and proto notes.

  • Review developments evaluating fit, construction, detail, colour, graphics and manufacturing issues in line with target costs.

  • Communicate relevant information to all appropriate internal and external parties as well as overseas suppliers.

  • Timely completion of all tasks according to the relevant calendar.

  • Provide technical support in the apparel development and production process.
